"Stop doomscrolling public forums for client gigs. Start discovering high-intent opportunities as they happen."
Every day, business founders, product leads, and creators post real problems they urgently need solved across public channels. By the time most freelancers notice, the post is buried under 40 generic template replies. We built Radarly to give independent makers a clean, timely signal without platform gatekeepers.
1. Why Radarly Was Built
If you are a solo software engineer, freelance designer, indie hacker, or boutique agency founder, you already know the hardest part of freelancing is rarely the actual work—it is the exhausting, repetitive grind of pipeline discovery.
Before Radarly, our team was spending 2 to 3 hours every single morning doing the exact same manual chore:
- Switching between 15 open browser tabs across Reddit subreddits, 𝕏 search queries, Hacker News threads, and freelance boards.
- Manually parsing hundreds of irrelevant posts to find the 2 or 3 genuine business owners who actually had an active project and budget.
- Drafting individual pitches while trying to beat the clock before another applicant took the spot.
We realized that skilled builders were spending half their working hours acting like search bots rather than doing high-value creative and engineering work. So, we wrote software to solve our own daily headache.
2. The Problem the Founder Experienced
Radarly was born out of direct frustration with the current state of freelance marketplaces and social discovery:
The 30-Minute Late Penalty
Organic client inquiries on public social channels have a very narrow response window. Discovering a post 2 hours after it went live usually means the client is already inundated with replies and has stopped checking new messages.
Marketplace Commission Taxes
Traditional freelancer platforms take between 10% and 20% of your hard-earned revenue, restrict communication, and force you to buy tokens or "connects" simply to submit bids.
Proposal Exhaustion & Burnout
Crafting a thoughtful, personalized proposal tailored to the client's specific tech stack and project needs takes 15 to 25 minutes per lead. Doing this 10 times a day without guaranteed replies is mentally draining.
Noisy Feeds & Low-Intent Chit-Chat
More than 90% of discussions on public forums are technical questions, memes, or debates rather than commercial hiring opportunities. Sorting through the noise manually wastes immense cognitive energy.
3. Our Mission Statement
"To level the playing field for independent builders, developers, and boutique agencies by surfacing real-time, high-intent client discussions directly from public channels—without marketplace middlemen, bidding wars, or platform commission taxes."
We believe skilled professionals should spend their energy building great software and delivering client results, not spending half their day fighting algorithm updates or competing in races to the bottom on price.
4. Transparency: How Radarly Actually Works
We believe in complete architectural transparency. Here is how the Radarly radar engine functions under the hood:
Multi-Channel Public Ingestion
Our background indexing pipeline monitors public, open RSS feeds and forum submissions across Reddit, 𝕏, Hacker News, and remote developer boards. We index public discussions only.
Commercial Intent & Budget Classification
Heuristic filters and lightweight models analyze post syntax to determine whether an author is genuinely seeking paid services, hiring for a contract, or merely discussing a technical problem.
Contextual Pitch Assistant
When you find a promising post, Radarly matches the client's stated problem against your configured persona (skills, portfolio links, years of experience) to draft a tailored, respectful conversation starter. You review, edit, and send it yourself.
Client-Side Notification Security
Your Telegram bot tokens, alert thresholds, and notification configs are stored directly in your browser's local storage. We do not store or inspect your private Telegram tokens.
5. What Radarly Does NOT Do
Setting clear ethical boundaries is essential to maintaining trust. Here is what Radarly will never do:
We never access private messages, closed Discord servers, private Slack groups, or password-protected user databases. We index publicly viewable content only.
Radarly does not send automated direct messages, spam replies, or unsolicited outreach on your behalf. You retain 100% human control over every message and interaction.
We do not sit between you and your client. When you close a \$5,000 or \$10,000 project, you keep 100% of the payment. We charge a straightforward software subscription only.
Radarly gives you fast discovery, intent classification, and pitch drafting tools. We cannot guarantee client responses or revenue; your craftsmanship, communication, and professionalism seal the deal.
